Wade & Silverstein Obtains Dismissal for Another Entrepreneur February 13, 2006 - Wade Litigation (San Jose, CA) February 13, 2006 -The Silicon Valley law firm of Wade & Silverstein declared victory again Wednesday on behalf of one of its clients. The latest victory involved the dismissal of a lawsuit that was filed by Bank of America against Wade & Silverstein's client (the President of a real estate investment company) for the alleged failure to pay credit card debt. In its lawsuit, Bank of America was seeking damages and attorney's fees and costs incurred by the bank in connection with the lawsuit. Shortly after being served with the lawsuit, the entrepreneur retained the prominent law firm of Wade & Silverstein. Wade & Silverstein attorneys vigorously defended the action and maintained that the lawsuit was unfounded. On Friday, Wade & Silverstein indicated that Bank of America had agreed to dismiss its entire lawsuit against the entrepreneur, including all of its demands for monetary damages and attorneys fees. It also agreed to issue a letter of retraction to the credit bureaus in order to restore the entrepreneur's credit. When asked how she felt about Bank of America's decision, Judi L. Silverstein, executive partner of Wade & Silverstein, stated: "I'm happy for my client. Bank of America did the right thing."
