Wade & Silverstein String of Dismissals Continues April 1, 2006 – Wade Law Group
(San Jose, CA) April 1, 2006 -The Silicon Valley law firm of Wade & Silverstein declared victory yet again on Wednesday. The latest victory involved the dismissal of a lawsuit that was filed against one of the firm’s business clients by a national relocation corporation, which alleged, among other things, that the client had breach his duty of loyalty to the corporation. The lawsuit also alleged that the executive (who desires to remain anonymous) engaged in unfair business practices, unlawful and unfair competition, and had received profits from unlawful business activities. Shortly after being served with the lawsuit, the Executive retained the law firm of Wade & Silverstein, who vowed to defend the Executive vigorously and to seek damages in connection with the filing of a cross-complaint. On Thursday, a statement was released indicating that the corporation had agreed to dismiss its entire lawsuit against Wade & Silvertsien’s client, including its demands for money damages. When asked how he felt about the dismissal, Amiel L. Wade, the firm’s President indicated: “Our client is happy so I am happy. It feels good to get this case dismissed.”
