However, as the case progressed and shortly before trial, Bullock’s extensive investigation, discovery, and case development became too overwhelming for the defendants. Consequently, through their insurance company, they agreed to a confidential settlement that offered Wade Litigation’s clients the maximum policy limits, which were substantial.
The settlement also included restorative justice provisions requiring community service benefiting domestic violence advocacy organizations. Furthermore, as part of the resolution, the defendants agreed to participate in structured community service programs supporting domestic violence shelters, survivor advocacy initiatives, and public education efforts focused on domestic violence prevention and awareness.
