Wade & Silverstein Obtains Another Dismissal (San Jose, CA) February 7, 2010 - Wade Litigation (San Jose, CA) February 7, 2010 -The prominent law firm of Wade & Silverstein declared victory Wednesday on behalf of one of its clients. The latest victory involved the dismissal of a lawsuit that was filed by Homeowners against multiple parties, including Wade & Silverstein's client (an established real estate company), alleging that the firm's client and others had engaged in fraud and deceit during a loan transaction. In the lawsuit, the Plaintiffs not only sought the recovery of ordinary damages but also emotional distress and punitive damages. Shortly after being served with the lawsuit, the real estate company retained Wade & Silverstein. From the onset, Wade & Silverstein attorneys represented that the lawsuit was unfounded and that they would work hard to get the lawsuit dismissed. On Wednesday, after numerous months of litigation, the Plaintiffs dismissed their lawsuit against the firm's client, but the lawsuit continues against the other defendants that are not being represented by Wade & Silverstein. When asked how he felt about the dismissal, Amiel L. Wade, managing partner of Wade & Silverstein stated: "I'm happy for our client. The Plaintiffs did the right thing by dismissing the case."
