(Los Angeles, CA) — May 22, 2025 – Katerina Z. Vita, Esq. of Wade Litigation has secured yet another victory. The latest occurred in Los Angeles Superior Court (Stanley Mosk Courthouse, Dept. 5) before the Honorable Jessica A. Uzcategui, where Ms. Vita successfully won her client’s case at trial, preventing him from being removed as trustee, while simultaneously validating his conduct.
The dispute involved challenges to the validity of a family trust, Ms. Vita’s client’s appointment as successor trustee, and whether certain real property was properly an asset of the trust.
Following trial testimony and the introduction of documentary evidence and contested arguments, the Court ruled in favor of Ms. Vita’s client. It confirmed the validity of the trust, upheld her client’s appointment as successor trustee, and ruled that the disputed real property was indeed part of the trust estate (as advocated by Ms. Vita and intended by the Settlor).
