About me
Christopher George is a third-generation California trusts, estates, and probate attorney with a strong foundation in both transactional and litigation matters. He began his career primarily assisting high-net-worth clients in Silicon Valley, focusing on estate planning and trust administration. This work centered on preserving legacies, implementing tax-efficient plans for long-term financial security and preventing as much chaos as possible between the trustee and beneficiaries.

Today, Christopher devotes his practice almost exclusively to trust and probate litigation. While this work can be very complex when dealing with such emotionally charged family dynamics, he finds it deeply meaningful and rewarding. He believes that every client deserves a fierce, loyal advocate in their corner that brings both compassion and strategic thinking to every case. He takes an immense amount of pride in his works and will always go above and beyond to achieve the best results for his clients.
Raised in a family of lawyers, Christopher was immersed in the legal world from an early age. He previously worked at his family’s long-standing firm, Hales & George, in Saratoga, California, both during college and after law school. His grandfather, Robert E. Hales, founded the firm in 1972 and taught Wills and Trusts at Santa Clara University School of Law in the 1980s, where Christopher later earned his J.D. in 2020. Notably, his parents, William P. George and Jan Hales, continue the family legacy as firm partners in the very same building to this day.
During law school, Christopher clerked at Douglass – Barnes LLP in Los Gatos, where he discovered his passion for trust and probate litigation. He now practices at Wade Litigation and is actively involved in the legal community. He’s a member of the Silicon Valley Bar Association, ABA Trust & Estates Section, Ventura County Estate Planning Council, and ABA Science & Technology Section. He also serves on the Board of the Santa Clara County Estate Planning Council and is an MCLE certified presenter on topics such as probate and the ethical use of artificial intelligence in the legal field.
Outside of work, Christopher values balance and personal growth. He enjoys traveling both domestically and abroad, staying active through exercise and outdoor activities, and spending time by the ocean. Just like his grandfather, he also remains deeply committed to mentorship, volunteering as a coach and judge for Santa Clara Law’s Honors Moot Court competitions, where he helps train the next generation of legal advocates.
