(Los Gatos, CA) — June 24, 2026 — Anthony Daher of Wade Litigation secured yet another victory. This most recent victory involved Wade Litigation securing a successful Plaintiff’s judgment in a quiet title action, involving allegations of abuse, threats, and property destruction. The dispute arose after a woman purchased a residential property and later added her boyfriend to the title as a joint tenant with right of survivorship.
The plaintiff alleged that she paid for the property, maintenance, taxes, insurance, and all other related expenses associated with the home, and that the defendant's behavior became increasingly unstable following an addiction to pain medication. In fear for her safety, she relocated out of state to live with family members.
Shortly after receiving threats from her boyfriend, the property was destroyed in a fire, and animals located on the property were killed.
After being retained, Wade Litigation filed a quiet title action seeking full ownership rights to the property. The firm was ultimately able to secure a Plaintiff’s judgment awarding 100% ownership interest in the property to the Plaintiff.
In addition to restoring full ownership rights to the property, the court also awarded attorney’s fees, cleanup costs associated with the fire damage, maintenance expenses, insurance costs, and property taxes connected to the residence.
