(San Francisco, CA)—April 3, 2026 —Wade Litigation's Yuri Voronin secured yet another victory. The latest victory occurred when Voronin secured his client's dismissal from a complex, highly publicized financial elder abuse lawsuit pending in San Francisco County Superior Court. He represented just one of multiple defendants named in an action brought by the trustee of a decedent’s estate, and only Voronin’s client was dismissed while the case continued against the other defendants.
The lawsuit alleged financial elder abuse, fraud, conversion, and related statutory violations arising from an alleged scheme involving caregivers accused of misappropriating more than six million dollars from an elderly decedent. The case received coverage in mainstream local media and involved numerous defendants and extensive factual allegations.
After approximately nine months of litigation, Voronin had sufficiently undermined the plaintiff’s case to convince them to dismiss it without his client having to pay anything. The resolution allowed Wade Litigation’s client to avoid continued litigation exposure, while the plaintiff case continued against the other defendants.
Commenting on the outcome, Voronin stated, “The result could not have been better under the totality of the circumstances. We resolved the matter through effective advocacy and a professional working relationship with opposing counsel, securing a practical, strategic resolution without further litigation against the client."
