(San Jose, CA) January, 20, 2015 – Wade Law Group wins lawsuit on behalf of client. On Friday the firm procured a judgment on behalf of its client First Class Credit Card Processing, Inc. The latest victory occurred after the firm’s client filed suit against two former business partners who had started a company but was using the same exact name as the firm’s client and was competing with the firm’s client. Wade argued that the defendant had infringed up the Plaintiff’s trade name and had caused the firm’s client damages.
The Defendant’s argued that it had a right to use the name and that it was Wade’s client that was illegally using the same name. The case was bitterly contested. However, on Wednesday, the court entered judgment on behalf of the firm’s client and ruled that the defendant would be permanently restrained from using the firm’s client’s name and also could not unlawfully compete with the firm’s client.
When asked how he felt about the judgment, Wade stated: “I am so pleased for my client. Now they can get back to doing what they do best, which is running their company.”
