Mr. Gizer first worked on family law cases at Van Nuys S. Help Center in California in 2004. That’s where he discovered that his bachelor in business administration was essential when he was working on property division issues (such as separating respective interest in family homes, community businesses, calculating guideline child and spousal support, calculating potential tax consequences, etc. ).
Furthermore, Mr. Gizer also utilizes his psychology degree in highly litigated child custody matters where behavior of each parent and the minor children are examined.
Mr. Gizer also received a Certificate of Tribute from Harriett Buhai Center for Family Law in Los Angeles in recognition of “the invaluable assistance” he rendered and commitment to stopping domestic violence, improving welfare of poor children and assuring equal justice in Family Courts in 2016 and 2017.
Mr. Gizer has previously volunteered his work at Stanley Mosk Los Angeles Center Courthouse helping victims of Domestic Violence Restraining Order Center in 2015 and 2016. He won many restraining orders for his clients while he was able to overcome false allegations of domestic violence against his clients and prevented such orders to be granted with unfounded allegations.
Attorney Gizer successfully passed the California State Family Law Certified Specialization Board Exam in 2017 awaiting Board certification. Attorney Gizer was admitted United States District Court for Central District of California in 2019. Mr. Gizer has worked in thousands of divorces and family law cases since 2004.
